All the collections of Tales, Truths, and Hybrids are stored in the Archives. But, alas, it does require a modest one-time $10.00 Lifetime Pass to access everything through The Gate. With the pass you can see the collections anytime you want and watch them grow.

Cedar Crossing

Currently, there are 56 stories and tales in this collection. Pastor Arnold Schmidt leads you through many of the stories from the small town of Cedar Crossing and the country parish of St. John Lutheran Church. The mix of tales is a potluck of humor, adventure, moral and theological points to ponder, as well as a whole lot more from the unique characters that make up Cedar Crossing.

Gardening a la Carte

You won't find much of scientific value in working your garden with this collection of 40 stories and tales. As any experienced gardener knows, though, working the deeper soil will bring new perspectives. Consume the works here given and you will not look at gardening the same way or at least you'll have fun doing it.

Off the Beaten Path

There are 24 stories and tales in this collection that serves as a repository of the stranger works in the Archives. You will need to be prepared to stretch your imagination some when you take in what this collection from a little farther out has to offer.

Light in the Western Sky

The fiery orange setting sun will bring a new tomorrow for the pioneers and settlers heading west across the vast land of America. Follow the dusty trail with these 31 stories and tales that the Old West has to offer. From tragic to humorous, this collection is but a morsel of the experiences of those brave souls who often left everything to find greener pasture.  

 

 

Tales of Needle and Thread

This new collection has 9 stories and tales to offer from the nimble fingers of those in the sewing room. As with many of the stories in other collections, this mix of works gives some different views beyond needle and thread.

 

 

Rogue Shepherd

Enjoy the adventures of Pastor Travis Sawyer as he takes the traditional pastoral duties to a whole other world. A man of action, he takes the Gospel well outside the parish, and in so doing has earned the reputation of a 'Rogue Shepherd.' This is another newer collection with 10 chapters. 

 

 

Hors d'oeuvres in Verse

This collection is a little different. Currently, there are 13 floral images with short verses to stimulate your appetite for longer works. Great for starting the day or just enjoying the life around you.

 

 

Seeds of Thought

With over 50 pages of nuggets from quotes to short accounts, you will surely find a harvest of seeds from a wide range of subjects to make you think beyond the morning coffee.  

 

 

Squirrel Gardens

Wilber, the head squirrel at Squirrel Gardens, doesn't talk very much, although he will chatter up a storm if a cat invades his territory. He prefers to show the creative hand of God through visual collections. Enjoy the 11 entries he has posted to date.

 

 

The Words Farm

An unorganized farm growing word crops that are heirlooms, rarely seen or heard, obscure, or interestingly, still in modern day use, the Words Farm can be unusual. Not an economic agricultural powerhouse, the Words Farm is owned by farmers who profit more from curiosity than any monetary gain. Feel free to walk its fields and harvest what you will.
